Only black from edge to edge. Intense aromas of black fruit plum compote, black pepper and vanilla. The ripeness of the fruit brings natural acidy to the party of black and blue fruit. The finish hangs on for an eternity with dried herbs, dusty gravel and molasses. If Darth Viader drinks wine, this would be his favorite!

Layers of blackberry and rhubarb, spices and earthiness. An all-time favorite of mine!

Wow. Bold red. Big flavors. It needs a while to open up though. Pepper, chocolate, leather and a touch of blackberries. Perfect taste.

This is a heavy wine. 16.2%. Not fresh fruit. More stewed, and it almost gives a port impression sometimes. Little heavy on the oak. But I like it. Nice spice. It does the vineyard justice but it could have even more complexity and site expression if it was dialed back just a bit in the oak and alcohol department.
