Louis Barruol
'Tiercerolles' Crozes Hermitage Syrah
Elegant, rich, floral & well structured. Velvety tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Soft and supple fruit with a savory spice finish. Drinkable now but will develop nicely down the line.

Lovely nose, delicate. Violets, cherry, good acid and tannins. Soft and ethereal.

Jan 27th, 2018Firm grapes that were well raised. Strong spice and dark smell, very deep red, grips the tongue. None the less despite its rough feel, flows right off. Spice on the nose. Medium body. Amazing after taste that flows into your meal for sure.

Jun 25th, 2017Very savory and aromatic with approachable tannins. Game, tar and some black pepper. Eager to see how it opens up. EDIT: Opened up beautifully yielded dark fruits, sawdust and cocoa.

Mar 10th, 2017Good but not awesome still for the money I would recommend this wine if you like cold climate Syrah.

Jul 29th, 2016Olive, creosote, fennel, and black pepper drizzled over slightly unripe blackberries. Syrah, beautiful, Syrah, in its northern Rhone suit of gossamer armour. Vive La France! Vive La Terre! The rating is only due to this wine's youth; there's more here with time.
