Open the bottle and the fruit aroma hits you. The first one , for me, is strawberry. Once the wine runs over the palette other red fruits are there...maybe cherry? Also there is an oakiness that appears when in the mouth but not with the nose. Average tannins. A great Texas wine. Glad I brought a bottle home.
