Liked it upon release, turned sweet and flat. Slightly past it’s prime.

May 20th, 2020Definitely one of the more, um, unique names for a wine, but at the $18’ish price point, and from a respected winery like Long Shadows, this was enjoyable. I’ve not had a pinot Gris rosé before, but this had a ton of soft fruit. Very rounded on the palate showing puréed strawberry, honeydew and melon. There was a spritz of acidity on the finish.

Jun 25th, 2019Rose of Pinot Gris? Fucking weird right? It's good too. Dry, slight effervescent, dried American fruits like strawberry.
