This is a nice red blend from Paso Robles. Showing Bing cherries, black currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, coffee, tobacco leaf, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Smells like a Pinot Noir from Oregon. Doesn't taste like that though. A Very interesting wine.

A great Food wine. Needs a few hours to open up properly. A little unbalanced and better with food.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 53% Tannat, 21% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Verdot and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels.

Next day update : it becomes balanced and enjoyable by itself.

14% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$30.

Pretty rando blend of tannat, cab, petit, and zin. We’ll rounded, tannin as expected. Earth and cherry.

A well made wine but not a huge Tannat fan. I get notes of herbasish tar.

Just popped it open and already tons of black fruit, earth and spice, with a smooth barrel influenced finish. Can't wait to see how it opens up over the evening.

It's amazing what an hour in a decanter can do! 14.8% alcohol, tannat/zin/PV/cab is typically not my style but this is balanced and elegant. Linebacker in a well tailored suit. Luxardo cherry, blackberry, plum, currant, campfire smoke, mocha... Long finish.

We love the wines from Lone Madrone. This wine is a blend of Tannat, Zinfandel , Petite Berdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Yummy.
