Lokoya
Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
A truly spectacular wine. It’s Godzilla wearing a pair of Cinderella slippers. It will tip toe across your palate effortlessly and with finesse but demands your full attention and respect while never letting go of you. The finish is stunningly long & begs you to take another sip 🙌👏👏🙌😘.
Thank you Bradley for a badass tasting and for your hospitality which was 2nd to none
Our stay was a winning bid from the Palm Beach Wine Auction and I’ll make sure we win this one again next year!!!!! The entire Lokoya team are Rockstars! Bradley, Brian, Leona and one of the best chef’s on the planet Tracey Shepos Cenami!!! Thank you for an Epic stay atop of the wine world!

I have a hard time deciding which is my favor terroir of Lokoya, Spring or Howell Mountain? The one has beautiful, ruby fruits-almost blueberry compote, creamy, ruby, ripe; blackberries, dark cherries & black raspberries & black plum. Loamy dry soils, clay, anise, rich dark turned earth, soft spice, the wine is so fresh, elegant with great florals of violets & lilacs. The finish is round, full and very well polished. This has a long way to go but in 15 years it’s an eye roller.

Though Mount Veeder gets all the attention, Howell mountain is the sister that may not be as pretty but is a lot more interesting. She may not be as smooth and refined but she has a dry sense of humor that stays with you.
2. Great Tuesday night wine that pairs well with “Activated Superfood Popcorn, Salsa Verde flavor.” Have this after a hot shower while your hair dries and you catch up on national news.

A monster wrapped in a velvet glove. Soft round finish. Nothing harsh or overpowering. But a ton of fruit and huge length
