This dark Italian has black cherry and raspberry on the nose, with a solid grounding in soil. Spices and herbs decorate the aroma profile, with allspice and anise predominant. On the palate, it's a bold showing of dark fruit and currant accompanied by a savory, black olive edge. Those savory notes last long into the generous finish.

Execellent, with a Dave Phinney wine, you can never go wrong!

Found one of my local liquor stores had some of these Dave Phinney NV blends I had not found before - the Italian here. Really, at @ $17, these wines are a steal. Easy to ID labels, thick bottles and a hood punt - at this price! Dried cherry, bit of a bite and tannins, lightbdrt, tobacco, vanilla and strawberry. 14.5 ABV. Thanks @Roman Sukley for letting me know about these. 9.0+ - great value.

Big fruit, not almost too much because it doesn't finish dry enough to offset it

Lush red and black fruit and soft tannins. It can be your fruit-bomb glugger or your wine with a simple steak in olive oil with salt and pepper. Fun wine.
