Some Brett. Remarkably youthful. Let’s hear it for acidity. Plums, green olives.

Past its prime.. Was probably ripe and delicious in its youth

Sexy earthy goodness with a touch of Brett

Rich chocolate, raspberry and plum nose. Big tannins for a wine so old, black fruit, great acidity.

‘88 vintage. Really good now…but drink it now. Raisenettes for sure at this point. Tannins starting to fade but acidity is surprisingly vibrant. Drink now but expect delicious.

Wine dinner 4/29/17. Still tasting good like last time. Balanced and rich with that Cali profile of soft tannins resolving into sweetness.

CVed 12/27/16. 12th Anniversary. Minerals and cherry and licorice on nose. Firm body with velvety tannins and lively balance of red fruits and acids and good complex finish. More lively than Marston but not as rich. Opened 3/2/17. Tasty as before. Excellent nose still, notes of tobacco and black fruits.

Well kept, aged well.
