Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo

Beautifully showing age, brown rim already, and on the lighter side for a Barolo. Elegant, with cherry, rose, tar, and pleasantly chewy tannins that are integrated. Super match for short ribs, and nice to sip alone. Very good value

The best Barolo at Da Fabiana, Bossolaschetto, Piedmonte with the three Cubans. 95 euros. Complex, big, quite elegant. However, the Langhe Nebbiolo last night might be better, forgive me. Curly really liked it.

Light-med body. Bright red fruit. Soft tannins

Needs a day to breathe. Lots of sediment. Not very complex, but a decent wine. One note

Decant. Better with food. Not super complex but earth-driven and delicious. Bought at Acker-Merrill.
