Younger vines after the phy replant?

First vintage for the one acre designate after 2005 replanting. Things were a little out of balance...it started with a dominant sweet cherry note and after being open for 2 hrs developed a little more spice. Still had a short finish. Looking forward to more recent vintages at a later date
