Linne Calodo
Slacker Paso Robles Red Rhone Blend
Austere aromatically. Slightly more giving on the palate and in a juicy style, with framboise, brown sugar, black olive, and wet clay.

Sep 25th, 2016Great balance and integration at this point. Still youthful with bright red fruit and acidity. Long finish.

Dec 27th, 2014Wish I would have left this in the bottle for a good while. Big wine in every way.

Wouldn't necessarily get Paso Robles tasting blind. Still alive with
Fruit, lush ripe tannin backed with acidity

Too big for my tastes. Crazy fruit nose but more balanced on the palate. Lots of baked fruits (rhubarb?) and some dark fruits.

Jul 13th, 2016Happy birthday, Papa Boro! We had three different wines tonight and Linne totally stood out (of course)! Matt Trevisan is one of Paso Robles’ up-and-coming stars. He’s doing everything right, and it’s good to see him planting a new estate vineyard of nearly 18 acres, building a new wine cellar, and taking full advantage of the gorgeous limestone soils on the hillsides of West Paso Robles. Trevisan has also been ahead of the curve in realizing that the finest Paso Robles wines are usually blends. Undeniably, he has demonstrated a Midas touch when it comes to assembling innovative blends. He is also the only winemaker in this region that I know of who is doing terrific work with Zinfandel, using it as the core component in some diverse as well as creative blends. His wines spend time in an assortment of different sized oak barrels, little of it new.
