This was tough to rate, I have been drinking a lot of Italian wines and Malbec recently so shifting to an unusually sweet cab was a big change. It was not great with my dinner BUT it was wonderful once my palette cleared and I appreciated it by itself. I don't have a cigar laying around but I imagine it would be awesome with a stogie by the fire. It's like yummy tart jam in a glass, without the disturbing sweetness of a local white. Well worth a try, but might not be for everybody.
