Dark red purple. Red plum and black cranberry on the nose. Palate is medium bodied and a bit hot initially. Alcohol blows off to reveal yields the same aromas with a bit of tobacco and a healthy dose of butterscotch oak. A wee bit out of balance out of the bottle. Needs a bit of time in the decanter to level off. Drink now
