Gist Ranch Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Classic, pretty Santa Cruz mountains cab. More on the red fruit side of the spectrum, with some great secondary notes.

Drinking really well. Lush and broad but not super-ripe. Delicious with a bone-in New York.

Awesome Cabernet, complex, balanced and plenty of blue berries and plum. Wish I had something gamey to go with.

This Cab, blending with 14% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot, is rich and powerful but with good balancing structure.

The nose shows ripe blackberry and blueberry, casssi, cedar, incense, and light dried herbs. Full bodied, the palate has a luxury feel with cool vibe. Quite primary, and tannins still need time to soften. But very delicious now.

Fantastic wine, that reminds you of a French Bordeaux red. Great with dinner pairing of enjoying alone.

Lovely for a cab. I usually don't like cab but this is not too tannic. With Brian and Laura.

Nice wine, full bodied, medium-high acidity. Oak leaf and earthy aromas. Raspberry and light mineral structure. Enjoyed with some pasta and meatballs.

A surprise; real clarity and mineral structure I bet that it could last forever but lovely now
