Given the vintage, I was hoping for more. If being honest I generally favor cab dominant blends and this is 70% merlot, so that could be a factor. Prune and graphite on the nose. Weak red fruit flavors are not enough to balance the high acidity.

Plum, blueberry, and cask on nose. Light, rich, and sharp on palate. Fine tannins and long finish. Honestly, this wine shows good quality. 2009, fantastic year, powerful. 1,5-2 hours decant time. Drink now-2016. Enjoy 🍷
