Jun 14th, 2016Very enjoyable Poulsard experience. I'm a fan of the experimentation happening in the Jura despite the outcomes. Quite thin for a red wine, I had it chilled. Red raspberries and cherries plus acidity reminds me of sour candy

Normally think of Jura whites as having too much of that "Jura" in it like "dirty gym clothes" as the docent of the wine tour expressed it. Absent here but still with a cool Jura character. Reevaluating my opinion on the Jura

Sep 29th, 2024Ah...the Jura. Weird, whacky, special. The wine was a sensory novelty upon opening. The nose, the taste, the mouth feel, the aftertaste were all trying. After four days in the fridge it is comfortable and approachable as an old world chardonney. Not a wine for new world people.
