Medium purple colour. Clean nose showing developing medium(+) intensity aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, dark plums, liquorice and hints of violets and black pepper.

It is dry in the mouth with a medium(-) acidity. It has smooth tannins and a slightly warm high alcohol. It has a medium(+) body and pronounced flavours with a medium(+) finish.

Very good quality wine. The alcohol is well-balanced by the fruit concentration and it has a quite decent finish. On the other hand a better example of this style would be more complex.

Drink now, the wine does not have enough tannic or acidic structure to be kept and develop more interesting aromas. It could withstand one, maybe two years of cellaring, but it is likely to lose its fruity aromas rather than develop tertiary notes.
