2013. Fortuitous pairing with grilled ribeye and chimichurri sauce. Had packed it over to a friend’s earlier this week, didn’t get to it, and it was sitting on the counter when I started thinking about a wine for dinner. This inexpensive screw top Grenache really didn’t show any age this last decade, and had a little bite on the finish. The acid in the chimichurri took that bite away and let the dark fruit and grilled steak play nicely together.
