Definitely showing some age at 8 years. Restrained blackberries mixed with herbs and leather on the nose. Fruit is a bit brighter on the palate while the acidity is a bit out of balance but overall a nice wine.

Good but unbalanced. Started out as fresh dark cherry, and white pepper. After an hour wine picked up a slight, but noticeable green pepper finish. Not offensive, just not my style.
