Almost like a weak port. Light with a hint of cherry but a bit of a kick.

Light & fruity, with a spicy finish. This is my first Negrete and it was delicious. Being a central coast wine I love it even more.

The label states that it's "lean and structured" which makes it sound like you're drinking a supermodel. It's dry but soft and a little spicy. So like a Brazilian supermodel.

Definitely smells like fresh cut grass with earthy undertones and dark red cherries. It cuts your tongue with the taste of tannins, but it's not overpowering and it doesn't linger around. Goes down pretty smoothly, but the flavors feel a bit bland for me. Better paired with some type of meat, but it's drinkable on its own. The smell just didn't represent what I tasted.
