The nose gravitates towards salinity, but lime, lemon, and underripe pear grasp attention. It’s got the hallmark ocean spray vibe throughout. Behind everything else, I get doughy aromas from it hanging on with the dead yeast. The initial palate retains the fruit, but the finish builds on the minerality and yeasty characteristics. Lightning strike to your senses. Such a bargain area and variety. Can’t ever go wrong.
