100% Sagrantino grapes in Umbria; Dark ruby, tearstaining with high viscosity and some haziness; dark fruits on the nose and strong minerality; powerful and dense on the palate, coarse tannins, liquorice and a medium-long finish with a chestburn at the end (15%). Needs food or lots more time in the bottle!

Very smooth expression of sagrantino. I miss the punch and the amaro of the real thing. This seems targeted for Swedish drinkers :-)

Hello wine lovers! 🍷 Här har vi grejer. Det är smörigt, blommigt och framförallt finns en tydlig tendens till färsk spillning av något slag. Spillning på en äng, kanske på en Skåneled. Lite salmiak, bärigt och extremt långvarigt i flabben med gott om tanniner. Mycket prisvärt!

Jan 21st, 2017Mycket strävt. Likt Barolo tycker jag. Gott till potatischips och créme fraiche med färska örter. Inte så gott dagen efter med hamburgare, även om jag inte hade söta tillbehör (ketchup osv).
