2012 Vintage. 15.7% Alcohol. 44% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Mourvèdre, 9% Petite Syrah. The Petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon tannins are integrating and this wine is coming into prime drinking window. Wow for an unusual blend.

The heat has mellowed in the interim. Big fruit bomb that is viscous, rich, and delicious. Still room to improve. Too bad this was my last bottle.

Inky, jammy and delicious. Perhaps better for sipping than with food.
