Give it some time to open up. Better with food. Smoke, vegetal, stony creek, unripe stone fruit.

60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Had 2012 in April of 2017. Needed to breathe. Initial taste was "hot" and boozy but mellowed with time in the glass to a nice smooth berry overtone with hint of spice underneath. Would aerate this next time despite it's lower price.
