Very little fruit, sour finish, terrible from the start as well as an hour after being opened.

Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. Because I know this to be true, I will sometimes take a swing on a cheapie and try to make contact. I went down looking at 3 straight pitches. This thing tasted a lot like Elmer's School Glue and a dirty Cherry Luden's cough drop, from the back of an old teacher's desk. I still drank 2/3 of it, because it did actually manage to convert sugar to alcohol. However, it will not make its way into my next TJ's basket full of goodies. I'm doubting Laurent DuBlanc, if that is your real name, will be on my visit list.

Dark, it’s a lovely dark red/maroon red wine. Smells like soil, leather and ripe wine grapes in the crusher. Taste is mellow and easy. Nice fruit. Hint of blood orange perhaps. Dry and well balanced. This is a classic, addictive cheaper Rhône. A TJ’s buy again vin.

Despite the hate on here it’s not a bad red to drink with pasta.

Marvelous with an amazing ruby red color on the edges that definitely resonates in the nose with a light smokey floral scent. It has a light leg on your glass but an awesome deep classic dry burgundy taste that finishes like a super expensive bottle. TJ’s for $7 make it a killer value!!

There are better Rhône’s available even at this price.I would not buy for more than $6.99 per bottle, which you can get at Trader Joe’sAs of May, 2020.

$5.99 at Trader Joe's. Very very dry, with harsh tannins and alcohol heat. Harsh and thin. Minerals. Calms down after some air time. I feel like this is what red wine tastes like to a new wine drinker. I would not buy this again.
