A bit subdued but head and shoulders above lots of boring Malbec out there now. Good complexity, nice balance, with tasty fruit. Will be interesting to see this again in a couple of years.

Rich blue fruit on the nose. Fine grain tannin. Less acidity yet still a little bright in the finish. Layered, serious malbec.

I've not had a ton of Cali mabecs (this is 73%). Riiiipe. Bordering on too much but I find myself enjoying this quite a bit. Grippy without being too angular. Juicy and fruity but some complexity too.

Oct 7th, 2015Even though it's a blend, with Malbec at 73%, this is a wine that would make me takes serious look at Malbec again. Too many blah examples to get me excited. This one is different. Why? Maybe you should find out for yourself.
