Hadn’t had larkmead before. Nice to try it and this 2011 is in a good place, though feels unlikely to improve - may be on the down crest. Nice pairing with a variety of things on the grill. Quite lush but balanced with good acid still.

One of the best Napa cabs I’ve had in a while. 2011 with 2020 Xmas dinner. Excellent.

Bright acidity and silky smooth with dark cherries, blackberries and a little leather. The acid held up well to an aged rib eye.

2011 was a tough year for many but this one made it through. Nice black fruit coming through.
