Dark ruby, medium body. On the nose: candied strawberry, pepper and spice. Some cherry on the palate with more candied fruit. The finish lingers with echoes of dried prunes. Found balanced tannins on the finish. I enjoyed this as an easier-going, more fruity and less meaty Cabernet.
