Lapis Luna
Look Beyond The Dangers Of The Forest Be Brave Zinfandel
$13.95. Nice nose. Tannins to start, or slightly after. Still kinda fruity, but has some spice. Smooth at the end-also a little tart to finish. Prefer this to 7 deadly at this price point.

Oct 30th, 2022This is an intense zin. Concentrated and cooked red fruit (cherry pie) is balanced by floral raspberry and strawberry on the finish. Tannin comes through mid finish. Hints of leather and tar. The floral fruity components come through more as it opens up. A bit too sweet for my tastes, but the label is pretty.

Aug 24th, 2020One bitchin’ label. The epitome of cool and eye catching. Lovely color of blackberry juice and flames from the coals of a campfire. Aroma is subdued and slight. Maybe a hint of road tar and cherry jelly. Has flavors of sweetened pie cherry, baked goods (danish, raspberry scone, strawberry pie), and light roast coffee. Complex and vegetal (roasted red peppers?, bar b qued veggies, that kind of thing). It’s a nice fun bottle to bring to party. If people aren’t impressed with the liquid, the graphic art on the bottle will be enough to spark a conversation.
