This is Aligote. Fresh and lively with a punch of sulfur and dazzling acidity and a backbone of limestone. On the palate limpid and precise with touches of lime and steel. Not as powerful through the midpalate as some but beautifully balanced and fresh.

As today is a flower day this wine was extremely floral with that classic D'Auvenay sulfur note of burnt popcorn and citrus. Wonderful and still quite young for Aligote.
