Lovely heady nose with rose petals and forest air. Flavor is crazy fruity and filled with hints of smoke and leather. Plenty of vanilla and toffee from the oak, but doesn’t overwhelm. Crisp. A little hot. Finishes with cherry syrup and jammy fruit. A primo example of the southern Rhône blend ala the Pacific Northwest.
