White blend. Large producer not really my thing.

Jul 10th, 2021Light golden in color.
Gorgeous nose of white flowers, tropical fruits, citrus, lemons, grapefruits, light banana, kiwis, pineapples, green apples, minerals and white pepper.
Light bodied, crisp and refreshing, with medium-plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, minerals, melons, wet rocks and spices.
Medium finish with bitter almonds.
This is an average white wine from Rhône, France. Nicely balanced with a bitter ending. Refreshing and smooth, with a very light mouthfeel, crisp and engaging.
A Good food wine, and also good as a sipper, by the pool. I would have liked it to be less bitter, but otherwise it is enjoyable.
Drink while still fresh. Not one for aging.
13% alcohol by volume.

Pretty could for a cheaper wine. High acid but very thin. Leaves your pallet almost immediately. Tangy.

May 10th, 2024For a cheap wine, this was great. Ended up paying $6.30 at total wine. Tons of pear and citrus, but was somewhat thin. overall for a cheap wine It had good complexity and no off flavors. Cannot complain. Had it on its own but would totally buy this as a great cooking wine in the future.

Purchased from: Discount Liquors

Notes: what can I say? It was a cheap bottle from our local liquor store. I didn’t ratchet it up, but I didn’t drink more than a glass a night with a meal.
