Leading edge in the glass shows a hint of browning, but otherwise this is still a translucent, light garnet hue...nose is heavily oxidized, but this wine still has a good depth of dark fruits and spice backed up with light, gritty tannins...cant believe a Cali Sangiovese is still drinking this well 21 years later....
