Dark ruby glass with translucent red violet rim. On the nose, blackberry, blueberry, bing cherry, earth, and hint of cocoa mix. On the palate, mild acid leads this lighter bodied Malbec with blackberry and cherry joined by raspberry. Finishes medium due to subdued fine tannins. Wine is well balanced but not as well structured as many. All characteristics are a bit subdued compared to richer Malbecs but can still accompany lighter dishes or serve as a sipper. Good value for $13.98 USD. Recommended for your "a something different" low cost party wine.
