I can’t believe the price on this- incredible value. I’m revisiting this old friend, as I knew I liked it years ago. The 2017 is drinking fabulously. It’s strong yet elegant. Dark cherries, dried herbs, strawberries and burning leaves. I’m gonna buy a case. It’d make great sangria too.

Berries with a bit of Earth on the nose. Berries on the pallet as well. Cherries mostly. lighter than I expected, but with enough body to hold up. Excellent for the price.

We had to do a second bottle to confirm that it was as fantastic as the first time. At $7 at Trader Joe’s this value is absolutely unbelievable. Low tannins and definitely a dry wine but not as dry as I usually like (I like super dry) but a clear taste of sweet plums and dark cherries; but has a strong fruity nose and a velvety finish ... a good leg. can’t wait to try with sangria given it’s a Granache!!

I really liked this red wine with its spicy undertones at first sip! A better wine, at least for me, in the fall and winter, but hey, that all depends on what you are eating! Dry, but that’s what we like!
