Dark red colour with an interesting plum and pepper bouquet that is relatively delicate all the same. Less pepper on the taste which is a relatively austere plum and blackberry. Possibly needs more bottle age but my wife and I had an earlier vintage on honeymoon 5 years ago and that bottle was much more open and luxurious, literally smelling and tasting of Xmas, so my assumption is that this is merely a less good vintage.

Brought this wine home from South Africa. Had lunch at the winery with josh and mark. Food was awesome and winery beautiful in frankhoek
