Medium ruby . Quite ripe strawberry jam, plum , spiced dark cherry , touch of fresh herbs , smoky touch . On the palate quite ripe dark cherry and plum notes , touch of liquorice and wood spice . Balanced acidity with fine , noticeable tannins , ok length, just about balanced alcohol . Quite generous fruit on the palate with a spiced liquorice finish . This is drinkable now though will improve over the next 5 years and last a further 5-8
