Comically cheap TJs wine made of 85% Verdejo and 15% viura, which I definitely needed Jancis Robinson et al.’s sprawling “Wine Grapes” to know about (merci @Brendan Devine). (Although Verdejo seems to be having a moment right now, if the bottom shelves of my local stores are any indication.) It’s on the heavier side for a white, grassy and mildly tart with a modest funk note. It’s very mellow, though, which is probably the best quality one can hope for in a sub-$10 wine find.
