La Galope
Côtes de Gascogne Sauvignon Blanc
Neat pale yellow colour. Light body. Herbal nose, good minerality with some lime/citrus notes. Low acidity and a short tart finish. Paired with #salmon and spinach. #SauvignonBlanc as you expect it.

Aug 3rd, 2016A very nice French Sauvignon Blanc. Not being a big fan of the fairer varietals, this one is sweet on the uptake and then finishes with loads of citrus and a hint of spice. It received ab a .2-.3 bump from me simply because it paired very well with the butternut squash ravioli in a brown butter and pear sauce.

Apr 7th, 2016This one is tricky. At first it seemed very blah, but it was very temperature sensitive so when it warmed a little the flavors came through, but then it went through this phase and became a bit icky. After being open a day it calmed down and was decent right out of the fridge. Still not sure though.
