Interesting wine. Definitely needs time to breathe, as most reds do. Give it some time and those cocoa notes really come out. Also taste a lot of plumb, some blackberry. Oddly enough, finishes with a bit of leather taste and a medium finish. I enjoyed it but surprisingly I think my husband likes it more than I do, and he is vey picky when it comes to wines.

Lacked the flavor expected from a fruity deep red. There were times it tasted like wet dog and times were it tasted like the ghost of a red wine. A lesson learned to not fall in love with a label before tasting the wine.
