Teachers are notorious for bringing their work home with them - you know, where their wine is. I sipped while finishing grades for report cards, a serious task for a not too serious wine. I tasted red fruits with medium tannins and some spice. Not much pepper, more of a clove taste. The fruit and spice didn't seem to know that they were supposed to work together, kind of like the students in that one group assignment I had to check. The wine still managed to get good grade, owing to the mild tannins that showed up prepared.

This Tempranillo Crianza has matured for a minimum of two years with at least six months in American oak barrels. Enjoy red cherry flavors with hints of vanilla, oak, and spice.

Not bad not bad. First Tempranillo. A bit on the dry side but plenty of lingering flavors on the end to keep it from being bitter.
