Touch of brett that adds to complexity. Great value for a classic Bandol.

Dark red violet color with baked black fruit, graphite, licorice, spice and hints of roast meat aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, fresh, and expressive with a supple texture blackberry, black cherry, spice flavors and an appealing minerality. Long finish. 14.5 alcohol. Organic fruit. Mostly mourvedre with a bit of grenache and cinsault. 2012 Vintage

Lots of Brett!! Smothers the black fruits at first. Gripping tannins, great texture.

Big Ass wine! Hearty Mourvèdre needs time to open. Meaty, with notes of licorice and blackberry!

Finally had the Bandol and a good one too. The meatiness comes through in bags though I found the heat from the alcohol a tad bit over bearing.

Dark fruit - black plums, dried figs & dates, cocoa & leather. Great value for this category!

White bandol is not an every day thing for me. Not bad.
