Huge olive, big earthy herbal notes, almost eucalyptus. Bright sour cherry, chalky and alive, long bitter finish. It is a weird and beautiful beast...back one hour later. Huge metamorphosis to a dark fruit bomb with butter brioche and bitter chocolate. In Mexico they call this El vino loco.

Wow! Beautiful developing aromas of smoke, spice, leather, black licorice, and coffee. Color is very dark and inky with brick edges. Body is full with still-chewy fine tannins and medium acidity. Palate shows dense fig, dried fruit compote, smoky sweet spices, more fantastic black licorice, leather, and a load of wet earth. Only flaw is a slight tendency towards unbalanced alcohol. Finish is long and beautiful. Excellent wine.
