I hesitate to rate this wine as I am fairly certain it has started to oxidize. A blend of Cabernet, Zinfandel, and Sangiovese it seems to drink more like an overly oaked Zin. Garnet in color, thin, lacking structure. Aromas of vanilla, underripe red fruit, and smoke. I give it an 8 since my husband seemed to enjoy it and it was not bad enough to pour out. Just rather uninteresting. Only paid $15 so win some, lose some. 😐
Note: I have heard wonderful things about Kuleto wines and will revisit them.
