This isn't elegant or refined, but it's pretty damned good. Thick, mouth coating, dense, tannic. Long finish. It's a blunt object, but sometimes subtlety is overrated. Particularly good given the $25 price tag a few years ago.

Oct 3rd, 2016Solid but unspectacular. I doubt this will get any better than it is. Syrah/cabernet sauvignon blend. The nose is all cabernet, but it's all syrah in the mouth. Blueberry notes, still tannic. The parts are good, but the whole doesn't quite get there.
