Mar 12th, 2021Vintage 2015 / Could lay my hands on this Evangelo 15 thankfully to @Doctor Alex ánd my local Greek wineseller Kostas. It’s really an interesting bottle. A great effort of Gerovassiliou. With morellocherries and porcini in smell, awesome balance in taste. I love it! Paired with pasta chanterelles and porcinimushrooms and excellent Chaams Hoen chicken with green vegetables.

Unfortunately my last bottle. I truly adore this wine which clearly needs some time in the bottle to soften down. But it is rewarding!!! Bold and elegant, sweet and enough acidity, great balance!

Jun 1st, 2023Again a wonderful showing. Full bodied with sweet beginning but softened with nice red fruit. Great balance. Had it over two days and it was on it’s best on the second day. Further cellaring will be rewarding

May 9th, 2022After a stunning 2017 again a superb showing with the 2018. I’m affraid I didn’t pair it right. Too much flavours in the food which lowered my tasting senses, will certainly revisit this wine in a year or so
