Great effort from the iconic Greek winery Gerovassiliou. Made of three indigenous varieties Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano this is a little pearl. Reminds a bit Nebbiolo or montepulciano of highest level. tannins showed some firmness but it had a good complexity and remarkable balance. Loved it

Quite deep ruby , garnet rim . Spicy , earthy , dark plum , cherry, cassis . On the palate dark fruits , cassis , plum , cherry with grafite and some wood spices , slightly sweet fruited finish . Nice balanced acidity and rounded but noticeable tannins . Very alive . Now and over the next 5-8 years . @ sexyfish London

Very fine example of Greek red, good value and possibly one for the cellar.
