Big time grApefruit, very nearly dry. Delightful, wish we had another bottle of this.

Mar 29th, 2015This is SO tasty. Has all the things I look for in a good German Riesling. All sorts of ripe stone fruit, slate-y minerality, a petrol-y edge that almost reminds me of the smell of Sour Diesel and a few other gas-y, citrus-y strains of cannabis; there's even a bit of cherry blossom to boot. Delicate balance of RS and acidity; has a little more RS than I might expect for a feinherb style but it works and is in harmony with everything else. Leaves such a distinct peach skin flavor on my palate on the rather long finish, that I really love. Also incredibly tasty with the sage and garlic pork chops and spinach salad with Provencal herb vinaigrette that we had tonight. Pretty stellar stuff for under $20.
