Just an excellent 20 year tawny. One of the best I’ve had in quite a while. This and Taylor’s.

Fresh on the palate and even better after a week of air in the fridge. Brilliant sweet-oak-grape accord. Brown sugar, raisin, bitter almond.

Dec 30th, 2018Enjoying a nice twenty year tawny on a beautiful summer evening at Terroir in TriBeCa. After the intense petrol nose blew off it was all caramel and molasses. Very smooth with good acidity. I was hoping for more fruit though.

Nuts, cherries, slightly sweet, very smooth. Very nice for a Tawny which are not classically my favorites.

Moderately sweet, with a lingering bitter note. Tastes of raisin and ... licorice? Simple but good.
