Kokomo is killing it. Exactly what a Dry Creek zin is supposed to be.

Excellent. Not a flaw in sight. But nothing to make me jump out of my seat. That being said "excellent" is worth it. Especially to while your evening away with whilst writing. Sip, note cherry notes, sip, noting the tannins weaving into vanilla. Sip yet another hour later and taste the citric raspberries weaving their way into the fabric of this wine. Another more than serviceable offering from Kokomo. Thanks @Dan White for turning me on to this winery.

Very pure Dry Creek Zin nose & still seems very young. An excellent example!

Very solid, if not generic, boutique Sonoma zin. Color is medium, fruit is dark and perfectly ripe, oak is prominent, and it's drinking really well with a rack of BBQ ribs.

A little hot with cherry notes when first opened. After about 30 minutes, the fruit, and subtle vanilla & spice come to life. Good wine that should be better after a few years on its side.

Dark fruit. Hint of vanilla. Easy finish.
